About Relign

Red Seal Millwright in Calgary.
Not a traditional contractor — trades intelligence.

A Red Seal millwright operation in Calgary where every job makes the system smarter. Documented equipment history, failure patterns, verified procedures — the knowledge compounds.

The person who answers the phone does the work

Founded in 2025 by Avery Pozdnikoff, Red Seal certified millwright. Calgary-based.

The thesis is simple: knowledge should never be an impediment. Any sufficiently skilled tradesperson dispatched to a Relign job should be able to execute as if they'd been there for months. Equipment profiles, failure history, verified procedures, parts cross-references — it's all in the system, not locked in one person's head.

When you call, you're talking to the person who shows up with tools. The same person who remembers that the chain conveyor at your bottling plant was wearing from inadequate lubrication, or that the Festo FRL assembly at the decapper had a drain O-ring leak. But if we send a journeyman from Local 1460 to cover a job, they have the same context we do. The intelligence is in the system.

The act of doing the work IS the data collection. Every work order feeds the next diagnosis. Job #500 gets diagnosed faster than job #5 because the system has seen the pattern before.

How We Operate

The knowledge compounds

Fix the cause, not the symptom

Replacing a bearing without fixing the misalignment that killed it is a waste of everyone's time. We'll spend the extra 20 minutes to find the actual problem. That root cause gets documented — so next time this equipment type shows up anywhere in our client base, we already know what to look for.

Document everything. Automatically.

Every visit produces a work order — parts used, work performed, as-found condition, recommendations. Most contractors hand you a chicken-scratch carbon copy. We maintain complete equipment profiles with maintenance history that makes every future diagnosis faster.

Honest about scope

If a job is outside our capability, we say so. When PLC programming changes are needed on an Allen-Bradley system, we bring in our licensed controls specialist — not attempt it ourselves. If the repair costs more than replacement, we'll tell you that too. We don't chase billable hours on work that doesn't make sense.

The system scales, not just the headcount

When a job needs more hands, we dispatch qualified millwrights through Local 1460. They walk in with your equipment history, the procedures we've verified, and the parts cross-references from past work. Same quality, no ramp-up time.

Scalable Manpower

Solo operator, union-backed scale
